Dr Amber Ruane

Dr Amber is a specialist Rural Generalist General Practitioner with experience in both metropolitan and rural and remote medicine; having worked across general practice, emergency medicine and urgent care throughout Western Australia.

Her background as a Rural Generalist has provided her with a broad range of clinical skills and a genuine appreciation and passion for the diversity of general practice. Having also worked extensively in Perth, Amber has a strong understanding of the local healthcare system and established knowledge of specialist services and referral pathways.

Amber enjoys all aspects of family medicine, with particular interests in women’s health, preventative medicine, and travel medicine. She is passionate about caring for patients at every stage of life and values building lasting relationships with individuals and families. Amber brings a practical, down-to-earth approach to medicine and believes in providing compassionate, comprehensive and individualised care.

Outside of work, Amber is happiest outdoors, whether mountain biking, exploring beneath the water with her partner, or spending quality time with her beloved golden retriever, who is now enjoying her golden years.
