Dr Gemma Samanta

Dr Gemma Samanta graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2006, and went on to complete her GP training in South Wales. She has worked in both inner city and rural practice, and moved to Perth in April 2017. She is skilled in all areas of general practice, with her main interest including women’s health, and paediatrics. She also has experience in palliative care and ENT and has worked in medical school education, as an honorary lecturer for Cardiff University. She is married to Sid, a fellow GP at St John Medical and has three small children. Outside of work she enjoys pilates and dress making.
