When you visit Urgent Care instead of the emergency department
When it’s urgent but not an emergency, St John Urgent Care is here for you. You can also avoid long waits in the emergency department.
St John WA has been serving the WA community for 130 years. Our seven day-a-week walk in service with on-site x-ray for injuries such as sprains, broken bones and minor wounds is just another way we provide care for everyday Western Australians.
Our three Urgent Care clinics in Armadale, Cockburn, and Joondalup are staffed by a team of highly skilled doctors and nurses that will be able to treat you.
St John Deputy Medical Director Urgent Care Dr Jamie Stewart, “we can help with minor injuries. Most sprains and minor breaks do not require a visit to the emergency department. With X-ray and casting on site, we can manage these injuries and avoid lengthy waits”.
Fees may apply. Find out more about St John Urgent Care, including opening hours at the location closest to you.
If you are experiencing anything life threatening, call Triple Zero (000) or go to the Emergency department.
For non-urgent matters you can still visit a St John GP or Dentist
If you are unwell or need to see a GP or a Dentist, the team at St John medical can help. You can book online or view more info on our General Practitioners and Dentists page.
