Women’s Health Week
This week is Women’s Health Week, serving as an important reminder to focus on the health and wellbeing of women, girls and gender-diverse people.
At St John WA we understand the unique and complex nature of women’s health, and we have a compassionate and dedicated team ready to offer personalised, around-the-clock support and education tailored specifically to women’s health issues.
Dr Samreet Gill, GP at St John Osborne Park, stresses the importance of being in tune with your body and seeking health advice when you notice significant changes in your body.
“As we continue the conversation around women’s health, there is still a long way to go in removing the stigma around many women’s health topics. We do this by creating environments where women feel comfortable speaking up and seeking the healthcare support they need, and this is something we pride ourselves on at St John WA.”
Our women’s health services cover a wide range of women’s health issues and services including:
- Preventative screenings, including breast and cervical screenings
- Contraception
- Sexual Health
- Menstrual and menopausal problems
- Family planning, pregnancy and antenatal care.
